Matthew M. Cianflone


Matthew Cianflone concentrates his practice on litigation, including the defense of transportation clients and carriers against traumatic and occupational injury claims. He has been a practicing attorney for eight years and has litigated cases throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic.

Prior to joining FWY, Matt was an associate at the Lindsay Law Firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he worked for former Assistant U.S. Attorney Alexander H. Lindsay, Jr.

Matt received his J.D. cum laude from the Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, he served as Case Note Editor for the Duquesne Business Law Journal and worked as an intern for the Honorable Donetta W. Ambrose of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Additionally, Matt is a graduate of the Catholic University of America, where he received his B.A. magna cum laude. He also received a Master’s Degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh.

He lives in Norwell, Massachusetts with his wife and son.
